Fire cement is a heat-resistant mortar used for sealing and repairing suitable joints around stoves, fireplaces and flue systems. It cures to form a hard, rigid seal and is commonly used around fire bricks, flue pipes and other high-temperature components.
Choose from cartridge and tub formats depending on the job. Cartridges are useful for controlled application into joints with a standard sealant gun, while tubs are better suited where the cement needs to be worked into place. Black and buff finishes are available across the range.
Fire cement sets rigid, so it shouldn't be used where a flexible seal is required. Always apply it to clean, sound surfaces and follow the manufacturer's application and curing instructions. Not sure whether it's right for the job? Get in touch with our team and we'll be happy to help.
