High temperature silicone sealant provides a flexible, heat-resistant seal for suitable joints and assemblies around stoves, flues and other heating applications. It's particularly useful where the joint needs to remain flexible rather than curing to the hard finish of a fire cement.
Check the temperature rating and surface requirements of the sealant before use, as suitability will depend on both the application and the materials you're sealing. High temperature silicone is commonly used around suitable metal and other non-porous surfaces where heat resistance and flexibility are both important.
If you need a rigid, heat-resistant mortar instead, take a look at our Fire Cement. Not sure which material is right for the job? Get in touch with our team and we'll be happy to help.
